This week, I am ecstatic because my cousin from Sydney, Australia is here in Singapore with her boyfriend. I am happy to show them around the Lion City. Not only that, my sister is also coming over for a quick visit here in Singapore. I was wonderful to catch up with cousin. I haven’t seen her since my wedding and I am happy to finally meet her boyfriend, Karl. I get to hang out with them after work. Thye finally meet Naj and my sister is in her happiest just playing with Naj. They get to witness Naj’s antics and toddler-adorableness. We went to the River Safari, tried out Chilli Crabs, visited the Gardens by the Bay and hang out in the bars at the Sentosa Beach Station.

It was fortunate that this Tuesday was public holiday. (Happy Deepavali to my Hindi brothers & sisters!) J booked a bbq pit at East Coast Park for an afternoon of relaxing and grilled meat with family and friends. My cousin & boyfriends, my sister and her friends and my friend & her family were there for a nice afternoon get-together.

This Wednesday, I was invited by Blogger Babes Asia together with Clozette to attend the launch of Clozette Ambassadress Coco Mercy’s cling label KALAIA at Ce La Vi ( Formerly Ku De Ta). KALAIA is an independent bohemian designer label that offers beautiful resort wear for women of today and encouraging women to #LiveForFreedom. It was my first time in Ce La Vi. It is a popular bar in Singapore found at the roof deck of the Marina Bay Sands. We get to enjoy the beautiful view of Singapore at night.

There were a lot of beautiful and fashionable bloggers that night and saw some familiar faces. I was also happy to see media celebrity personality Simone Heng at the party. She is a Singapore-bred talent based in Australia and has lived in Dubai. I am familiar with her work and seen her in some modelling ads in the Philippines. I find her really pretty. She reminds of Rachel Leigh Cook. She is also a petite beauty like Rachel which makes me gravitate towards her. You know, we, short petite women should stick together, hehe. I couldn’t help myself but take a photo with her.

November 12, 2015 is the birthday of one of the women I admire a lot: Grace Kelly. I admire her gracefulness, her poise, her style and elegance. I read her biography. She is not really an angel but some part of her, her inner struggles resonates with me. She is my favourite princess, my kindred spirit and Scorpio sister.  Belated Happy Birthday Grace Kelly!
