This week, work is in full swing so everyone was looking forward for the long weekend due to Labor Day Holiday Observance tomorrow Monday. I realised this week also that sometimes we are given different paths to choose from. Sometimes we take the comfortable and same path, sometimes we take the new road for new adventure. Choices can be hard and exciting at the same time. Do follow what your instincts say or you follow what your trusted loved-ones who say? Are you driven by your fear, your anxiety, your thirst for adventure, your logical sense? Pray that I may be guided well and that I may make the right choice.
This week was vaccination week for our two sons. It is the last vaccination for Naj and the first for Fynn. I was so proud of my two boys who didn’t even cry during the vaccination. Ahh, my brave boys! After the vaccination, we had dinner out and my hubby made me try out the chendol. I felt so sad last time we were in Malacca and I wasn’t able to try their chendol. It reminds me a lot of Halo Halo from the Philippines except that they use this brown sugar to sweeten it instead of cream milk. This is perfect for the hot weather now in Singapore.
I also started trying the Dr. Bronner’s Soaps and I love it! My boys’ skin are loving it too. Check out my review of Dr. Bronners’s Magic Soaps here.
Yesterday, I had a date with Fynn and met up his two godmothers. We had burgers at Wolf Burgers in PasarBella. It wasn’t spectacular and the place was a bit noisy. However, it was always great to see my girls and Fynn was happy to meet his ninangs too. It was also a nice day to go out of the house, just me and Fynn. It was baby’s day out, hehe.
Here are a round-up of links I found online that inspired me this week:
Brown skins are beautiful. Tell the Bianca Gonzales-Intal.
How clean your clothes can impact your productivity
Lipstick lessons from Arci Muñoz
Empowering message for mommies of their post-baby weight
how to eat chia seeds
My niece sent me this for my next (in 2-3 years, haha) baby announcement. It is so cute!
Happy Labor Day! Yehey for long weekends! I am currently ‘laboring’ on my two kids as I am nanny-less every Sunday, haha… Cheers to moms everywhere. No day-off for us, gals, hehe..
