I always say that I am not really into overly-grand and dramatic marriage proposal. Personally, I prefer intimate marriage proposals. I never really like the whole hoopla. Though the efforts of the boyfriend should be commendable and appreciated that it became a big circus spectacle, it does put a lot of pressure for the girl to say “yes” even if she is not really ready. My favourite Hollywood movie marriage proposal was in the movie, Stepmom, when Ed Harris proposed to Julia Roberts when they woke up and giving her a sewing thread inside the ring box, using it as an analogy as the real ring slowly slides through her finger. Sweet, intimate and simple. But then again, to each her own. Though there are actually a few marriage proposals that are specially orchestrated with matching videography and even stylists that I do find endearing and sweet. Lately, I came across a sweet proposal done by actor Arthur Solinap to dancer & actress, the ever-sexy Rochelle Pangalinan.
Arthur asked the help of Nice Print Photography to set up a perfect wedding proposal for his girlfriend of 7 years in the place which is a very memorable place for them, at Balay Indang Resort in Cavite. It was a simple but sweet proposal. The gazebo was set up beautifully for a perfect proposal for his special lady. I did feel teary-eyed upon seeing the video. Arthur’s sincere and loving words to Rochelle when he proposed tug my heart strings. It didn’t sound scripted nor overly dramatic. They look great together and they look very very happy.
Arthur is an Ilonggo who also happens to be our neighbour. I had a little crush on him when I was in high school, I remember. It was easy to spot him with his mestizo looks when we were young. I wasn’t surprised that he became an actor eventually. Rochelle came a long way from being a sex bomb dancer. She is such a gorgeous woman and a talented dancer. I love her outfit during the proposal. And her body is amazing! Her abs were distracting during the proposal!
Best wishes to you, beautiful couple!
