Being new to this pregnancy bit, I am learning a lot of things day by day. Though I learned and heard tidbits of these during med school but it is different when you yourself are experiencing all the many, incredible, scary and amazing ways your body can do when you are pregnant. I see being pregnant is like learning you have some hidden superpowers all  along. You are a superhero, pregnant lady!

Here, met the 5 pregnant superheroes and take note all their powers can be interchangeable or combined.

1. MRS. NOSE-IT-ALL

Mrs. Nose-It-All can smell anything even from a thousand distance away. A rotten left-over overstaying in the trash bin, a person who forgot to take a shower this morning, a hidden cinnamon bun in your backpack or that faint cigarette breath you have — can never be missed by Mrs. Nose-It-All. So beware, no secrets can hidden because Mrs. Nose-It-All can smell EVERYTHING!

2. MRS. FLEXIBLE (TUMMY)

Mrs. Flexible (Tummy) is a chameleon. You might think she is already 6 months pregnant but she will surprised you the next day when you see her that stomach has deflated into a flat tummy or a small hint of protrusion. You see, Mrs. Flexible (Tummy) has this powerful ability to store a lot of bodily gases and by-product of bodily processes. Believe me, her stomach stretch up to 34 inches and miraculously return back to 25 inches in just 1 day. Well, soon though she will wake up and see that she will lose her magically power of returning back to original size but will see her tummy increasing inches day by day (much to her delight). Well, until 9 months….

3. CRYING MONSTER 

The Crying Monster has this ability to cry at anything at anytime. She had been injected by this powerful drug that started with a letter H (Hormones!). She will cry by any little hurtful words you say or cry when yo do any touching gesture or when she see an adorable teddy bear or when she see puppies been mistreated. Never mistook this crying power as weakness. She can manipulate with her rain of tears or else she will flood your road with her bottomless supply of tears in her ducts.

4.  MRS. EXPLOSIVE-VARAMA

Here is the cousin of Mrs. Flexible (Tummy). Everyone near Mrs. Explosive-Varama should be cautious. Mrs. Explosive-Varama is holding dangerous explosive gases inside so beware. It can all go out in any open outlets of her body. So stay a safe distance and don’t dare put her finger.

5. MIRACLE WORKER

This is by far my favourite super hero from the bunch of First Trimester Super Heroes League. Along with blessing from God, she was given the power to hold the ability of having a miracle growing in her belly. Her body transforms and adjusted to accommodate a wonderful creature, a miracle so precious within her.
