December is here!!! Christmas is just right around the corner. Oh how I wish I can gather up all my family and friends and we can all spend Christmas together. Christmas for me is all about baby Jesus, families & friends, lots of food and lots of laughter & non-stop talking. This will be our 3rd Christmas in Singapore. We have yet to celebrate Christmas in the Philippines. Oh, the noche buena, the carollers, simbang-gabi…. How I miss it.
Most of my family and friends are scattered all over the continents and we will all be celebrating our Christmas far apart. So , to bridge that distance and extend our holiday cheer to our loved-ones, we thought of sending Christmas cards to all our families, relatives and friends. Again, I headed over to Minted, to decided what is the best holiday card to send.
Minted is an online stationery store powered by a global community of designers. I love this site so much! I have used it for Naj’s baptism invites as well as my name card for blogging events. I love that they have a lot of gorgeous designs which I can also customised to my preference. They deliver promptly and I like the quality of the sprint and paper.
There are several cards my husband and I are choosing from. If we opt for a photo Christmas card, we are choosing between the Simple Elegance Photo Holiday Cards and the Stamped Circle Holiday Photo Cards.
The Simple Elegance Photo Holiday Cards looks indeed elegant and simple which we like. We have the option to change the shape of the cards but we prefer the curvy shape example below. We can also change the color of the card but we think red always resonates with Christmas.
The Stamped Circle Holiday Photo Cards look cute too. I like the stamped circle with the Merry Christmas in the middle and I like that we can have four photos included in the card. There are three options for the shape of the card and four options for the colors for the stamped circle.
We also saw a cute alternative for a holiday card. Why not send them a luggage tag photo holiday card? I thinks its cute and fun. My travelling cousins would love this one. There four options for the shape and three options for the colors.
But most parents know that having a decent photo shoot for a Christmas photo with a one-year old boy can be exhausting, if not disastrous (hahaha!). So if we want to keep it more simple, there are also non-photo holiday cards options at Minted. I have two choices.
The Have Yourself a Very Funky Christmas Holiday Cards looks festive and very christmas-y. There are six cool shape to choose from and three color options. I love all the details of this card and the scripted font.
Another choice is the Fill in Your Holiday Holiday Cards. I like that you get to fill it in and it feels even more personalised and cute. You can play with your words and adjectives when you fill it in. The wittier, the better. It’s nice to make your relatives and friends laugh even if you are miles away. There are 5 shape options and three color options.
It is great that paper products takes 2-3 days to print and international economy shipping will take about 5 days. International priority can make it even faster. Cool, right?
We also saw that we can get our Christmas gifts to our family and friends in Minted. We can send them our own personalised 2016 Calendar from the Brillo Family or a Heart Snapshot Mix photos of our families’ family. I think these are excellent Christmas gift options. Don’t you think?
Which holiday card should we choose? Please help!
