Last March, we celebrated Fynn’s 2nd birthday. Yes, our curly charmer turned 2 years old this year just in time to be big brother to Baby Zeke. Last year, we celebrated his 1st birthday at Wild Wild Wet. This year, we chose again another water adventure for our active water baby.
We decided to have a day of fun at Adventure Cove in Sentosa Island. Before we headed out for our water fun, we had lunch at Chili’s in Resorts World Sentosa. Chili’s is a family-friendly chain serving classic Tex-Mex & American fare in a Southwestern-style setting. My doctor-friends & I had dinner in one of their branch one time and I have always wanted to take my meat-loving husband to Chili’s after trying their dishes there.
For appetizers, we had the Texas Cheese Poppers.
It is made of Panko crusted cheese bites with Monterey Jack, cheddar cheese & cilantro, served with sauce for dipping.
Then we ordered the Big Platter with lots of meat & sides. I forgot the exact name of the platter with we got.
It was a sumptuous meal and we were ready for Adventure Cove afterwards.
We got our Adventure Cove tickets from Klook. I love the app because it is so easy to use. I have used it several times in most of the attraction spots here in Singapore as well as on our trip to Korea.
Adventure Cover WaterPark is a large water playground for kids and adults, alike. It provides 14 rides and attractions for guests to enjoy. The usual entrance price is S$38 for adults and S$30 for Child (4 to 12 years old) and S$30 for Seniors (60 years old and above. They also have Adventure Express if you want a shorter queue for rides & attractions.
We weren’t able to take loads of photos because after changing into our swimming gear, we kept our stuff in the lockers and we jump into the long Adventure River with floats. I believe the Adventure River is the best feature of the waterpark. It is circles around the Adventure Cove. We love going round and round. We did it twice. And don’t worry, the floats are free.
We didn’t get to try some of the rides and attractions because we can’t bring our two young kids with us. They did say that Adventure Cove can be more adult-friendly while Wild Wild Wet is more for kids. But we did enjoy some attractions like the Bluewater Bay, especially when we heard the siren horn signalling that the wave pool will start creating a strong wave pool in the pool. It was so fun. We have to keep our feet steady while we carry the kids.
The kids also like hanging out at the Big Bucket Treehouse and Seahorse Hideaway. We stayed there for a long time with them going up and down the slides and waiting for the bucket to fill up to get drenched by it once it unloads.
My husband tried the Pipeline Plunge, the Dueling Racer and Splashworks. My apologies for not being able to captured any photos of those attractions.
After one last round of the Adventure River, we called it a day. We headed to VivoCity for some Ben & Jerry’s before heading home. It was nice fun day to celebrate Fynn’s 2nd birthday.
