I find this week to be a bit more relaxing than my other weeks. I did my Basic Cardiac Life Support Recertification this week. We, medical professionals, need to pass a workshop course on CPR every 2 years. And I passed! Yey! I have to admit I was terrified of the practical exam. The written exam was okay but the practical exam where you get to simulate a CPR on a life-size mannequin was hard. Believe me. I weigh less than 50kg person and the mannequin is huge. I was out of breath trying to give 5 cycle of chest thrust & 2 mouth-to-mouth blows to a very hard inflexible mannequin. There is machine to check if you are doing it right. Good thing, I passed it in just one attempt.
This week was also my compressed work week where I get a day of leave/rest. Double yey! It was also great that that same day, it’s my husband day off and we got a temporary babysitter for the day so my hubby & I got to have a date day. Triple yey!
We watched the movie “Fast & Furious 7″ in Bugis+. We love the movie franchise. It was an explosive movie and Paul Walker’s last movie. I was curious how the production managed to finish the movie without Paul Walker. I think my hubby looks a little bit like Paul Walker. Some people say so too. We then grabbed lunch at Bonchon for some Korean soy garlic chicken.
Then we headed to the colourful street of Haji Lane. It’s my first time to visit there. I love the vibe of the place. We could resist a photo op.
I had a wonderful manicure & pedicure in this amazing shop called The Nail Social In Haji Lane. I can’t wait to share more about the shop. I will be blogging about it next week.
