THINGS THAT INSPIRED ME THIS WEEK

THINGS that inspired me

THINGS that inspired me

My week started with a date night with my hubby. I love being able to have some alone time with my hubby, just him and me. Well, soon we will be four and being alone with him can be a novelty. We had a different date night this time compared to our usual dinner date. We were invited to try out the this cool new movie concept at Muvee Space. We are able to recapture the movie we missed. My hubby suggested we watch Captain Phillips movie. I will blogging about it soon.

Middle of this week, I attended a Korean skincare and makeup workshop with Beauty Buzz. Don’t you just love the no-makeup glowing makeup look of Korean women? I learned so much that night. Though you would be surprised that achieving that no-makeup makeup look can be even more time-consuming and complicated than the regular makeup. There are so many steps I have to consult our notes to remember it, hehe. I will share with you what I learned soon.

But the best part of the week is always the weekends. I get to go for confession and go to the sunset mass on a Saturday and Sundays is always a Naj Sunday. I get to spend my time with my son. I took him out early in the morning to our condo playground. I am glad it wasn’t raining this morning. He is one happy kid.

I also got to cook a hearty brunch for my two boys. My husband is working in the afternoon so I get to prepare him a good brunch. I just love being able to care for my hubby and son (soon, it will sons, haha). Though I have to admit cooking with a very active toddler in the kitchen can be very challenging. I have to do some extra chasing and keeping an eye on him because he can now reach the kitchen top & open cupboards and grab anything he fancy. Phew! I was sweating after cooking brunch.

Here are a round-up of links I found online that inspired me this week:

8 bags women should own. I am recently became a bag-oholic.

I am in love with these pastel bedrooms

Why you attracted the wrong person

How to feel romance even when you are alone

Empowerment means embracing your femininity

Steps to make sure holiday spending won’t get out of control

How to find your personal style

Things you can’t know about marriage until you’re divorced

Having a good life in Facebook is not something you should apologise for

I am excited about next week. Great things are happening next week… I hope you are all excited as I am.
