ACHIEVING KOREAN BEAUTY AT GANGNAM LASER CLINIC

Gangnam Laser Clinic

When we were in Korea, I couldn’t help but admire the skin of both Korean men and women. Perfect, glowing, smooth porcelain skin! Who doesn’t wish to have that beautiful skin?

Good thing there is the Gangnam Laser Clinic in One Raffles Place here in Singapore. I have always been an advocate of lasers. I even prefer laser treatment to dermabrasion. I had my birthmark on my left cheek lightened by laser and I really show its wonderful results. So I have high hopes when I visited Gangnam Laser Clinic during my off day from work.

I arrived early for my 12noon appointment. There was a table of magazines and Easter chocolate goodies for clients. I was greeted by a nice receptionist in their nice white clinic. I was asked to fill in a form for a better detail of my medical history, skin conditions and allergies.

In a few minutes, I entered the consultation room and met Dr. Chu Jiawan. She is a petite, pretty doctor with a wonderful smiley face and not to mention, a beautiful poreless skin. We talked about my skin concerns which are hyperpigmentation and dull skin. She was nice enough to explain all about the skin and referencing to the picture of layers of skin on here wall. I haven’t told her that I am a doctor too but it is nice to know doctors still take the time to educate patients.

Dr. Chu explained to me the procedure they will be doing for me. I was asked to lie down the reclined bed and the assistant planned a thin headband on my hair to expose my face properly.

I will be trying the Gangnam Glow Korean Pulse Light Laser. The first laser was a soothing warm laser that felt like a relaxing spa treatment. I am familiar with the Q switched ND:Yag laser with different range of lasers. The second laser felt the mild rubber-band prick on my face. I was surprised I didn’t feel much pain. I would use some topical anesthesia for lasers but in Gangnam Laser Clinic, I didnt and I didn’t felt much pain at all. Then lastly, it ends with ErYang laser which is a minimal laser peeling to reveal a new layer of skin. It was done in such a few minutes.

Then I was directed to the other room for a facial mask. Of course, there should be facial mask. It’s not Korean beauty if there is no facial mask. It is the glow mask.

The treatment was done within 30minutes. So fast!

Days after the treatment, I am happy to note that there was absolutely no downtime. My skin felt tight, plump and smooth. I noted a lightening of my post- acne pigmentation and dullness was gone. I am so happy with the results. Gangnam Laser Clinic definitely delivers.
