Things that inspired Little Miss Honey
Last Sunday was quite special because we got some surprising great news which I will be sharing with you all very soon.

This  week, my hubby and I started a monthly tradition. Date nights, just the two of us. I believe it is important for husbands and wives to invest in their marriage, as motivational religious speaker, Bro. Bo Sanchez said. It is important for married couples not to forget that they are lovers and friends first and parents second. In order to be good parents, we must be a good wife and husband to each other.

We went to Marche′ for dinner. It was like stepping into a little European country side. I love the concept of the restaurant. We enjoyed our little date night.

Last Friday, I attended a food tasting session with several fun food bloggers at Haru Haru Japanese Restaurant located at Ang Mo Kio. I will blogging about it very soon. It was a fun night of good food, interesting conversations and lots of laughter. Here is one of the dish that was served to us that night.

I am happy that again this Sunday, it is my husband’s off day at work, we headed to Changi Village and went Aston’s Specialities for some steak lunch. After our hearty meal, we bought this cuppa lava cake from Chocolate Origin while strolling at Changi Beach Park.

We didn’t know the Changi Beach is just nearby. It was a nice relaxing Sunday spending it with the loves of my life.

THINGS THAT INSPIRED ME THIS WEEK

White Sands Mall

This week started with a blogger event. I was happy to be invited to attend the White Sands Mall Resident Blogger Briefing. White Sands has been my go-to mall when I was still here in Singapore because of its proximity to my old place. Now I am so excited that White Sands is getting a make-over and lots of exciting new things are lined up.

It was great to meet up with other bloggers. It was nice to meet Reg of Hey Rocket Girl. I am a follower of her blog even when she was still in Manila.

We had food tastings at Sakae Sushi and ThaiExpress. Oh my gosh, food was amazing and we were so full, hahaha. I will be blogging soon about the new White Sands and the food tastings we did.

Then the very next day, I attended another blogger event hosted by IMS Marketing to get us more acquainted with Harman Industries which is responsible for première audio products like Harman Kardon, JBL and AKG. It was a fun night of cool sounds and learning more of their amazing products.

I was also happy to meet my blogger friends in the event and  got to know new bloggers that night too.

Today. we are now in Kuala Lumpur.  We are celebrating Naj 1st birthday on Monday here. We decided not to go for a big birthday bash but instead we wanted Naj 1st birthday to be a trip outside Singapore. We want to teach him when he get older the beauty of travelling and we can tell him that on his 1st birthday, we took him to a different country.

Naj

I can’t believe this little munchkin is turning one already. I love you Naj-Naj!

THINGS THAT INSPIRED ME THIS WEEK

This week was me and my husband’s 2nd year anniversary. Into our 2nd year of marriage, now we have our happy adorable 10months old Naj and we could be any happier. It can be challenging at time to juggle marriage, parenthood, work and living in foreign country but we managed.

On the day of our anniversary, my hubby got work so we have to move our dinner date on another. And on that day, we literally had a feast. I will be blogging about it really soon.

Also this week, my friend & colleague, Jas, enrolled in this three-hour workshop to make softie toys hosted by Sew Into It. Jasmine & I have no background in sewing and we were used to have our more “creative” family members do our Home Economics projects for us (Sorry, Teachers!). It tested our ‘skills” or better the lack of it, hehe. But in spite of that, we managed to make a decent softie toy and the great thing is we get to bring it home. Jasmine made a giraffe while I made a sleepy pigeon. Read about Jasmine’s blog about the workshop here: SEW INTO IT.

Here is my masterpiece, hahaha… Naj love it!
