Happy Fathers’ Day to everyone! How are you all celebrating this special Fathers’ Day?
This week didn’t start off as good as I hope it would be. I caught a very bad upper respiratory tract infection. On Monday, I was coughing more than my sick patients, I can’t barely even finish a sentence without running out of the room to cough out my irritating phlegm. I just have to be sent home to rest and recuperate. I have so many medications so I can get better fast.
Good thing, my body cooperated and by Wednesday, I was feeling much better with just a minimal cough now & then. By Thursday, the date night my hubby and I scheduled for ourselves pushed through. We decided to do our monthly date thing again. Yes, just me and him, without the kids. He fetched me from work and we went to Mandarin Gallery for our dinner date at Wild Honey.
Wild Honey is a great place for dinner dates and meet-ups with your gal pals. They serve an all-day breakfast menu. It was a bit pricey but hey, it’s not everyday we can go out on dates so it was okay. I will be blogging about Wild Honey soon. We had this sweet drink with our breakfast food.
I am so happy this week, I also managed to make my official morning and evening routine. So I hope this can help me jumpstart my weightless program and get rid of the pesky post-pregnancy weight. Plus I get to maximise my time with the kids and eat healthy also. I love having a schedule. Yes, I am such a dork.
Last night, we prepared a card and gift for J for Fathers’ Day so when he goes home from his late-night work shift, he would find it in our bedroom desk.
Happy Fathers’ Day J! We love you to the moon and back. Thank you for being such a cool & hands-on dad to Naj & Fynn. Happy Fathers’ Day to my amazing Papa and my macho-hunky brother….
J cooked a yummy garlic butter crabs for brunch. It was the best! Naj enjoyed it a lot too.
