Isn’t she delightful and funny! It is not an easy job, boring even but she managed to do her job with enthusiasm and dedication. Without her realizing, she was recognized for doing an excellent job. This delightful elevator girl is Ms. Cheridel Alejandrino. She inspired fellow Filipinos with her passion for her work. She does her job always with smile and untiringly. As seen in the video, she greets without fail everyone that enter the elevator and memorizes the all shops in all floors. It is humbling to see someone like her.

Not all jobs are perfect. Unlike some lucky people who has jobs that are their real passion so “working” for them seems like playtime, most people go to work daily in a begrudging manner. But learning from Ms. Alejandrino that whatever job is laid in front of you or is offered to you, you must give your 110%. Enthusiasm coupled with consistency and dedication are what the ’employee of the month’ are made of.  You will never know someone would noticed your hardwork. But don’t let this be your motivation to do a good job, so you can get some kind of recognition like say, a viral video. Knowing that you are doing an excellent job is enough self-satisfaction to boost your self worth & esteem. Whether your boss or colleagues recognize it or not that you are trying your hardest, it doesn’t matter. What is important that you know you given your all and that is more that enough.
