PizzaBoy

Who doesn’t like pizza? It is one of my comfort food and I am sure yours too.

I first heard of PizzaBoy from fellow Filipina blogger in Singapore, MyFarrahdise. I was happy to order boxes of pizza from PizzaBoy for my Despidida Party when I was leaving the clinic I previously work at. All colleagues enjoyed the pizza and chicken bbqs. They keep raving for it. Again, I ordered pizza from PizzaBoy when we were celebrating one of Fynn’s monthly birthdate. I am a number 1 fan!

PizzaBoy

PizzaBoy is the brainchild of two very nice Filipino couple who wants to offer special homemade pizzas & other comfort foods for Singaporeans especially located in the East of Singapore. PizzaBoy is more for delivery options rather than dining. They have a little store in WIS Building in Eunos area. But they also set up a few tables and chair outside there store for customers who prefer to dine-in. They have their own delivery service but they also are available at Deliveroo and Ubereats. There are also Halal-certified. I love that they are very near our place.

So I was excited when I was invited to have a foodtasting of PizzaBoy for bloggers one perfect Saturday The lovely owners set up a beautiful location for the food tasting at the rooftop of WIS Buiding.

We had the Mighty Meaty, Dr. Vegan & Mr.Green, Amazing Pepperoni, Ultimate Cheesy Garlic Chicken, Pizza Rendang and Power Balls. The Super Pizzas cost: $4.50 Small (6 inches), $10.90 Regular (10 inches) and $12.90 Large (12 inches) while the Power Pizzas like the Pizza Rendang and Power Balls cost: $12.90 Regular (10 inches) and $15.90 Large (12 inches).

All the pizzas are flavourful, unique and soft. I am so happy they got the Vegetarian option for people like me who wants to up my vegetable consumption. I like the Chicken Rendang pizza as well.

Besides pizzas, they also have chicken bbq, wraps, quesadillas and Mac& Cheese. I am loving the quesadillas a lot.

FOOD DISCOVERIES: A SPOONFUL OF SUGAR

A Spoonful of Sugar

A Spoonful of Sugar

I didn’t realise that living in the East of Singapore, I have to advantage of  my proximity to Changi Village where there are a hidden finds of cafes and restaurants to choose from. One day after work, I met up with fellow Filipino blogger, Reg of Hey Rocket Girl at this cute café at Changi Village.

A Spoonful of Sugar is one of cute cafes in Changi Village that serves waffles, ice creams and pastries.

I love the interiors of the place. It is fun, dream-like and colourful. The place is quite small but they made perfect use of the space. There were miniature hot ballots and colourful pompoms with cool murals in the wall.

You can have the waffles in two ways: thin crispy waffles or the fluffy waffles topped with the ice cream of your choice and some sweet sprinkles.

Fluffy Waffles

I prefer the crispy thin waffles compared to the fluffy waffles. The thin waffles has a crunch to it and it has a different texture than the usual waffles we are used to. While the fluffy waffles is too thick and heavy in the tummy. There are also a lot of ice cream favours to choose from as well as toppings. I got a sea salt caramel and coffee flavoured ice cream.

Ice cream

There are several coffees to choose from also.

Foamy Cappuccino

I like the presentation of their cafe arts. Their coffees were ok but not spectacular. They also have this yummy rainbow cake to go with the coffee.

If you want to get some sweet carbo-loaded fix at an adorable food spot , go to A Spoonful of Sugar to satisfy your cravings.
