THINGS THAT INSPIRED ME THIS WEEK

Things that inspired me

This week was my husband’s birthday. I wanted it to be extra special day for him since it is his day. I would look across the room and see him. I realised, “Gosh, that guy is mighty fine. I am so blessed to be married to such a handsome hot fella”. Happy Birthday to my husband! I hope God grant all his wishes and goals for this year. Naj and Fynn have him to look up to when they grow up.

It is  good thing that it was both our off day. He had been working really hard the past few weeks with gruelling late night work, I wanted to give him break. Naj and I gave him our birthday gift for him when he arrived at midnight with a cheesecake birthday cake. We know he would love his birthday gift. It took me a hard time looking for it. I made hime sleep until noon while I prepared a brunch for him: pancakes, bacon and eggs.

In the afternoon, we headed to Orto, a multi-recreational park with several dining options for dinner. It is a 555,000 sq. meter lush greenery that is a great place for family. We choose Mookato, a Thai Bbq restaurant for dinner. We were joined by our couple friend who lives nearby. I will blog about this place soon. I would love to go back there and explore the place again.

This week, I was also privileged to be invited to a new gastrolounge, Shui Gastrolounge in Clarke Quay. I took Jas, my colleague & friend with me for a private tasting. Here are some of the foods we tried out. We were so full and the food was amazing. Wait for my blog post about the cool new gastrolounge next week.

My hometown, Iloilo City is celebrating the Dinagyang Festival this week. Hala Bira, Iloilo! I wish Naj & Fynn can experience it someday too.

Here are a round-up of links I found online that inspired me this week:
