NO TO BULLYING!

I always believe that the toughest years in school is not during college or postgraduate school but rather during elementary and high school. Because that is where usually the bullying starts. The big mean jocks and the popular mean girls in school would never know the tremendous negative impact they can give to a person’s esteem and spirit whom they bullied during elementary school. Kids who were bullied will course through their growing up years with the self-image their bullies have stamps on them. I pray they wake to see the real truth: That God made us all beautiful and worthy. I know I have but from time to time, I still get nightmares of bad memories.

Shane Koyczan  started a project called “To This Day” where he made a 20-second segment video with a poem he written about bullying. He asked collaborators of talented animators and motion artists to bring his message across beautifully. His aim is to explore the impact of bullying in an individual. He succeeded. I was touched by his message. My tears flowed. And it made me want to hug every sister and brother of mine who have experience bullying too.
