My faith is an integral part of me which I hope to pass on my son. I would love him to grow up to be a God-fearing person.
I am happy that last month, we went home to the Philippines for Naj’s baptism. He is finally part of the Catholic community.
It was a simple ceremony to welcome Naj in the growing community of the Catholic family. It was nice that he got baptized in the same church where my parents were married.
Nowadays, baptisms can turn into lavish party after their ceremony but my husband and I opted for a more low-key reception.
We picked this lovely restaurant, Lighthouse Resto+Bar for the reception.
They served delectable dishes1 which is the main reason why we choose it for the venue for the reception.
For Naj’s cake and cupcakes, we ordered at Daily Buns.
And Naj’s godmother, Dr. Melissa ordered for him some additional cupcakes from Oopsie Daisies.
We were also honoured that US-based site, Minted, sponsored the invitations of our choice.
For the decors, I contacted A Sweet Cottage to send me a party-in-a-box for all my party needs.
It was a great day. We are happy that we feel Naj is so blessed to be surrounded with a wonderful group of supportive godparents, family and friends.
