FOOD DISCOVERY: THE KING LOUIS GRILL & BAR

July 13, 2015 by Little Miss Honey 1 Comment

My husband is the King of my life. He is strong, gallant and brave. And I am his Queen.

So feeling a bit like royalties, we picked The KING LOUIS  BAR & GRILL for our 2nd wedding anniversary dinner date a few months back.

The place looks like a perfect place for a King and Queen to dine.

Look at my handsome date.

There were several Signature Banquets to choose from, Knight Gawain, Queen Isabelle, Knight Constantine and Queen Matilda to name a few.

But we decided to order the Weekday Feast ($69.00) which includes the soup of the day, roasted beef with black pepper sauce, marinated boneless chicken leg with onion sauce, grilled porkloin with mushroom sauce, pan-fried fish fillet with garlic cream sauce, ice cream of the day and softdrinks. This is only available from Monday to Thursday.

The soup of the day was Mushroom soup with bread. I absolutely love this soup. I enjoy dipping in my butter garlic bread sticks into this creamy soup.

Instead of softdrinks, we opted for iced tea.

Then our dinner banquet arrived. It was huge! It is supposed to be good for 2-3 persons. I have to take several angles of our humungous  heap of food.

I like everything in our tray, even the fruits and vegetables that came with it. The meats were just juicy and flavorful. It was hard for me to distinguished which is which. But my favorite has to be the roasted beef and the one I least touched was the marinated chicken leg. We thought we will just eat half of the food we ordered but we almost finished it! We were  hungry king and queen, I guess, haha!

Then came dessert. We had vanilla ice cream with sprinkles and chocolate syrup. It was a sweet ending to a night of feast and love.

Presenting the Queen and King, haha…

We both had a great night, celebrating our 2nd year wedding anniversary, enjoying our feast and having our rare date-night with our little one for a change.
