In my Manila visits, if I am not staying in hotels for conventions, I would stay with my sister in Pasig. She told me of the environmental advocacy of Pasig City. The Mayor of Pasig encourages the people in Pasig to use bayong & recycable bags in doing their market…. Kyoot!


And my last Manila visit,  when i was on my way back to my sis place, I thought of buying her & her friends some dinner. I headed to the KFC near Pasig Church and look what I saw:

Paper bag! No plastics here…. Ang saya!


Keep up the good work, Mayor Bobby and Pasig City! I hope other cities would follow your footsteps in your green advocacy!
