It is still January so basically it’s still New Year for me and you. I have been extremely lazy for the first few weeks of the new year because I wasn’t motivated enough. But time for slacking is all over and I decided to make a couple of New Year’s resolutions to motivate myself. We all need a little push into the right direction, the right inspirations. So I log into Zalora, my favourite online shopping store, a place where I can find lots of things to inspire & motivate me.
MY NEW YEAR’S RESOLUTIONS:
1. BE MORE POSITIVE
My mother taught me that the secret to a successful life is to always be positive whatever challenges are thrown at you. This 2013, I will do just that. And to energise that kind of positive aura, it is best to use the color of the year: Pantone Green. Pantone Green is also describe as a color of elegance and enhances our sense of well-being & balance. And I am all for that.
I found this beautiful green peplum dress that is a statement piece that would inspire me to be more positive and balance for this year.

2. HIT THE GYM MORE OFTEN
I signed up for gym membership before the start of the year because I need to look my best on my wedding (which is a few months away). But sometimes laziness can take over when it comes to working out. However, with this cool colorful sneaker, I would be excited to hit the gym more often.

3. BE MORE CONFIDENT
Nothing is more attractive than a woman who is confident. It is a trait we all want to embody. We need to believe more on ourselves and our abilities. Nothing spells of confidence than a bright red lips. Just that– nude face and red lips, reminds me of our very own, Anne Curtis.

4. BE MORE ADVENTUROUS
Life is all about discoveries. I need to explore more and discover more fun & cool places to go too. I love discovering quaint cafes, that is my thing and if I can find a funky bookstore too that would be a plus. So instead of just watching reruns of tv shows in youtube on weekends, I should go out and have some fresh air & sunshine more often. I should grab my flip-flops and do some walking in a chance to find some cute cafes, nice foodie place or whatever I might bump into. I prefer to be comfy as just like Dora-The-Explorer, hehe, so a cute shorts would be a perfect match with my flipflop. I don’t plan to wear heels when I am in my explorer mode (no way!).

5. SLEEP EARLY
After my scary bout of acne breakouts a month ago, I decided to take good care of my skin and sleep is one factor that can help me with that. Nothing beats a good rest. At least 8 hours of sleep would do wonders for the skin. I have a bad habit of sleep too late but not with this sexy and sleep-inticing sleepwear. I would be excited to sleep early if I’m sleeping wearing this.
