When my off day and my husband’s off day coincide, we often make the most of it and plan a fun family. We thought of an activity that Naj would enjoy too. My husband thinks that Naj would appreciate the wonderful colors of marine life, so headed to Resort World Sentosa and got tickets for the S.E.A. Aquarium.
My hubby couldn’t help posing with these cute statues. Hahaha!
To get to the aquarium, we have to enter the Typhoon Theatre. We made a mistake of leaving our pram and diaper bag outside the theatre. We didn’t realize we can’t return to it until we are done with the whole tour of the aquarium.
Inside the theatre, we got to watch a short film and later we were ushered in a big room where the film continued on with some cool technical effects. Little did we know we were already transported downwards to the aquarium.
The shipwrecked boat we saw when we got there which is the one we saw in the short video.
We were greeted by this stand-offish looking shark.
My two boys blended in the place quite well.
There were so many beautiful colorful fishes in the aquarium. They are so lovely to look at. There are more than 800 species of marine animals in the aquarium.
I was so happy that Naj enjoyed watching the colorful fishes swim.
I saw another grumpy fish swimming with other happy fishes.
There was a carpeted space where Naj got to interact with other kids. It wasn’t really intended as a playground but there were so many kids crawling around and Naj was one happy boy playing with other kids. We stayed there for a bit.
We got to see different types of jelly fish too.
We saw this lovely picture near the exit of the aquarium. This is how fishermen does it back in the days.
It was a fun day for us and Naj is sad that it had to end. S.E.A Aquarium is a great place for a family outing as well as a good place for tourists to visit.
