GETTING A HAIRCUT & DYE AT J’S SALON

November 29, 2018 by Little Miss Honey

J's Salon

A week before my birthday, I wanted to refresh my look. I wanted to have a fresher cut and lighter haircolor. There are so many salons to choose from in Singapore and it was very hard to choose. Then I got to discover of a salon that is inside a hotel. It was conveniently near my workplace so I headed to J's Salon on a rainy Monday morning. I was amazed to see how spacious the place is. It is found in Level 3 of Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel. I was greeted by two friendly staff and told them … [Read more...]

Pink Parlour Tampines

In 2012, single and just a few months of living in Singapore, I decided out of whim to try out having a Brazilian Wax and see if I would like it & if I can tolerate the pain. For those who doesn't know what Brazilian wax, please go google it. I saw this cute girly place in Joo Chiat, Katong named Pink Parlour that has Brazilian waxing, other hair removal treatments, manicure & pedicure treatments and spray tanning services. So I booked my first Brazilian wax without any hesitation. On … [Read more...]

NEWLY-LAUNCHED KOREAN BEAUTY PRODUCTS: TEEN CRUSH COSMETICS & MARRYECO SKIN CARE PRODUCTS

October 15, 2018 by Little Miss Honey

Teen Crush

I have been a fan of Korean beauty, both cosmetics and skincare. I love the invasion of cushion foundations, lip tints and the 10-step beauty routine. So I was thrilled when a Korean Beauty company approached me to try out a newly launched TEEN CRUSH & MARRYECO, both are trademarks of Labiotte, made by Tonymoly, a beloved Korean cosmetic brand. I am one of the first global user of these brands. I was a giddy little girl when I received a box of TeenCrush cosmetic products and Danpoong … [Read more...]

When Baby Zeke reached 4 months and a half, I noted my breastmilk supply significantly dropped. I aimed to breastfeed Zeke, even if it's mixed feeding with formula milk, up until he turns 1 year old. So I was ecstatic to collaborate with Marian's Lactation Boost who is one of the lifesavers to my depleting milk supply. Marian is a homebaker who focuses on baking lactation goodies to help mommies in their breastfeeding journey. She bakes yummy lactation boosters brownies, cookies, muffins and ice … [Read more...]

CONFINEMENT FOOD SERVICE FOR POSTPARTUM MOMMIES BY NATAL ESSENTIALS

June 18, 2018 by Little Miss Honey

Natal Essentials Confinement Food Service

When I was into the 6th to 7th month of my pregnancy, most of my local friends and colleagues here in Singapore would ask if I have engaged a confinement nanny or someone to take care of my meals during confinement. As a Filipino, this was not practiced in our country but being introduced to this idea of confinement period in Singapore made me curious about this postpartum practice. Confinement Period starts after a woman has given birth. There are a lot of physical changes in a woman’s body … [Read more...]

MAKE YOUR MOM SMILE WITH FLOWERS FOR MOTHER’S DAY FROM FLORAL GARAGE

May 8, 2018 by Little Miss Honey

Floral Garage Flower Shop

There is something about May that I love. The month of May often is synonymous to flowers, love and motherhood. I believe that that is what May represents for me. Even back in the Philippines, the month of May means a celebration of flowers. Flores de Mayo (Spanish for "flowers of May") is  a festival  that is celebrated in the month of May. I love receiving flowers. I mean, most women love to receive flowers, right? But I particularly love receiving flowers during May because it is the month of … [Read more...]
