7 SINGAPORE FOODS TO EAT WHEN YOU MISS FILIPINO FOODS (OFW EDITION)

June 19, 2019 by Little Miss Honey

bak chor mee

This is not because it doesn't taste good but rather the familiar & the healthy breeds contempt into my tastebuds. My gullible 6-year-old self would prefer the artificial taste of fast-food junk foods to authentic home-cooked meals. Maybe because I took it for granted that it was available all the time. I would prefer Chinese or Western cuisine any day. Now that I am living abroad, I couldn't help but crave for foods from my hometown. … [Read more...]

Seafood Island

In our stay in Iloilo, I have a chance to visit Seafood Island Northshore Grill twice when I was there. I always come with my big family and what Seafood Island offers is one of the current food trends in the Philippines: Boodle Fight. Boodle Fight is a military type of eating where a long table is prepared  where all the food mixed together is placed on top of banana leaves.  You often eat using your hands but of course you have the option to use utensils too. Davao Gulf Boodle … [Read more...]
