BOOKS OF THE MONTH: LESLIE LUDY’S BOOKS

August 20, 2016 by Little Miss Honey

Leslie Ludy's book

Looking around these days, I realised that women are having few people to look up to that would model what is classy and dignified femininity. Class was replaced by crass and it saddens me. I am still hoping I will have a daughter eventually and I want her to have good women examples to follow. I was delighted to discover Leslie Ludy's books that geared toward Christ-centered femininity. I have read a Leslie Ludy book that she wrote her husband, Eric Ludy entitled When God Writes Your … [Read more...]

THINGS THAT INSPIRED ME THIS WEEK

Things that inspired me this week

The last few weeks has been challenging for my family & I. Fynn and I have to fly home to the Philippines because I need to attend to something very important. I prayed so hard to God and He, always a listening & loving God, heard me. He heard my family's prayers. He has blessed us with compassion, love and healing. I am grateful for His bountiful grace and protection. I was back midweek in Singapore. I am blessed with friends and colleague who are amazing and supportive in what I am … [Read more...]

E-BOOK REVIEW: HE CAN CATCH YOU WHEN YOU FALL: THE CONTINUING LIFE STORY OF MIRIAM QUIAMBAO

February 22, 2016 by Little Miss Honey

Miriam Quiambao's book

This is a tell-all story of Miriam Quiambao, all in the words of Miriam Quiambao herself. Miriam Quiambao rose to fame and made the Philippines proud when she represented the country in the 1999 Miss Universe Pageant. She was a very strong contender for the crown. She became a crowd favourite after slipping and falling on the stage during the preliminary evening gown competition where she suddenly got up from her fall with a winning smile and grace. The audience cheered and she won the hearts of … [Read more...]

THINGS THAT INSPIRED ME THIS WEEK

Things that inspired me this week

This week, my sweet & thoughtful co-doctors in the clinic organised a baby shower for me at this hip restaurant in Bugis Area called Artichoke.  It was a great night of amazing yummy food, special mention  on the Lambgasm (it was gave us lambgasm, really) and a lovely discussion on things non- medical for a change. This is my first baby shower. I never had a baby shower because I was inflicted with the terrible PUPPS and I opted out on the celebration to scratch my skin until … [Read more...]

THINGS THAT INSPIRED ME THIS WEEK

May 3, 2015 by Little Miss Honey

It's Pacman Day!!! All Filipinos are feverishly anticipating the fight of Manny Pacquiao to Floyd Mayweather. I am not a boxing fan nor I would say I am a die-hard fan of Manny. But slowly, I couldn't help but respect this man. He has an astounding determination and perseverance. He also a very humble man which is not very common to man of his stature. But what really got me is his faith. When he unbashfully proclaims his faith and his devotion to God in a boxing press conference. A man who is … [Read more...]
