BOOKS OF THE MONTH: LESLIE LUDY’S BOOKS

August 20, 2016 by Little Miss Honey

Leslie Ludy's book

Looking around these days, I realised that women are having few people to look up to that would model what is classy and dignified femininity. Class was replaced by crass and it saddens me. I am still hoping I will have a daughter eventually and I want her to have good women examples to follow. I was delighted to discover Leslie Ludy's books that geared toward Christ-centered femininity. I have read a Leslie Ludy book that she wrote her husband, Eric Ludy entitled When God Writes Your … [Read more...]

THINGS THAT INSPIRED ME THIS WEEK

July 17, 2016 by Little Miss Honey

I met up with a friend this week. We got our nails done. Now that I am older ( and wiser), I realised the importance of friendships. So even if we don't work in some company, we try to meet up and catch up. Same wth friends that are miles away, I make sure we still communicate via WhatsApp or Facebook Messenger. I also had wonderful discovery this week. I have been hearing a lot about the KonMari Method in housekeeping and design articles. KonMari Method is the method designed by Marie Kondo in … [Read more...]

I have been a fan of Bo Sanchez inspirational books for so long now. I wanted to buy the latest book, Life Manual 101: How To Make Your Dreams Come True. It was so nice of my friend, Doc J, to get me this book as a birthday gift. I just got it last April, mailed in my Philippine home, a few weeks before I am travelling back to Singapore. BOOK OF THE MONTH: ANG DIARY NG LEGAL WIFE

April 26, 2016 by Little Miss Honey

marriage book

I have to clarify first for those who would readily jump into conclusion that I am having trouble with my marriage. Haha! Nope, I am not in a hopeless marriage but this book caught my eye in a Christian bookstore that I believe some of my friends would benefit from. But before I give them this book as a gift, I have to check first if it would give value to their lives. It is a small thin book but contains a lot of gems to consider for wives. What is interesting about this book is that it is … [Read more...]

BOOK OF THE MONTH: #GIRLBOSS

March 30, 2016 by Little Miss Honey

#GirlBoss book

I been looking for this book for the longest time. After a long search, I finally found the book, #GirlBoss. I didn't know what to expect when I bought this book. It is a mix of an autobiography, self-impowerment/motivational book and book for starting entrepreneurs. Sophie Amoruso is the author of the book and founder & CEO of Nasty Gal. Honestly, I have never heard of Nasty Girl before. I learned that Nasty Gal is an American-based online retailer of hip clothes, shoes ad accessories for … [Read more...]
